Reliev your back pain without drugsWelcome to my website on Back Pain Relief

My name is Jeff and I have worked in the pharmaceutical and natural health industries for over 25 years.

Over that time I have seen numerous pharmaceutical products removed from sale because the authorities have realized that the harmful side effects far outweighed any benefits they produced.

On the other hand, while not all natural health products are completely safe any problems with them are rare.

You should be able to obtain fast relief from pain without having to resort to very strong prescription medication. Just remember drugs for pain¬† relief do not remove the pain but simply cover it up so you don’t feel it as much.

It is wise to seek other means to minimize pain so that your reliance on prescription medication is reduced if not eliminated.

The more common problems I will address are

  1. lower back pain relief,
  2. neck pain relief,
  3. sciatic nerve pain relief
  4. and shoulder pain relief.

We will cover these and also other painful conditions like migraine, fibromyalgia etc

To start with you can order the COMPLIMENTARY¬† book “The 7 Day Back Pain Cure” by clicking on this image

Read This Solid Advice On Back Pain

by Jeff on May 21, 2013

There are many people of all walks of life who suffer with incapacitating back pain. The majority of sufferers have not found an effective treatment that is able to free them from the issue permanently. This article provides different techniques and methods about how you can treat back pain for good.

To prevent back pain, locate a mattress with the right amount of firmness. Soft mattresses may seem more comfortable but they don’t provide enough support for your spine. A firm mattress is preferred, but mattresses that are too firm can be a source of back pain too. Take the time to try out the mattresses in various stores, because each mattress is different and some will meet your needs better then others.

TIP! Finding the right firmness in your mattress is essential to preventing back pain. Typically, mattresses that are too soft tend to exacerbate back pain.

Ignoring your back pain doesn’t help and may make it worse. Many people make the mistake of ignoring the messages their bodies are sending. They would rather just ‘walk it off’. If you move around too much while still in pain, it only becomes worse. You will want to reduce your activity until your pain lessens.

Do not repeatedly stress your muscles in the same manner, no matter what you are doing! Avoid doing the same repetitive motion over and over again. It is important to vary your position and posture frequently.

TIP! Don’t ever ignore any back pain. People often ignore their bodies.

Do not slouch your stance for any activity, including household chores like vacuuming. If you’re bent over constantly pushing and reaching forward while you vacuum, it will be causing you back discomfort. This pain is easily avoided if you maintain proper posture during this household activity. Make sure you stand completely erect, and power the movements of the vacuum with the strength of your legs. When you use your back, you create more back pain.

If you get back injuries easily, through genetics or lifestyle choices, see a chiropractor regularly when you feel pain. Chiropractors can prevent minor back problems from progressing into major ones.

TIP! Ease pain in your back after hours of immobility at a desk by breaking to take a walk. When you stretch your leg muscles via standing and walking, you are also stretching out your back muscles.

Lifting items that are far away is often due to time constraints and laziness. People often take shortcuts and they do this daily. Putting more thought and care into lifting things properly can go a long way in preventing or adding to existing back discomfort.

Many people experience lower back discomfort, and it is a large reason for a number of doctor’s visits. There are several different things that can be done to prevent excessive lower back discomfort. Because pain in the lower back is so common, you should take appropriate steps to prevent it.

TIP! Muscle spasms will need to be eased if you are having serious back pain. The fastest, easiest way to accomplish this is by laying down and applying some heat directily to the tense, spasming muscles.

If you’re carrying 10 pounds more than your optimal weight, then try going on a diet. Extra weight, particularly in the abdominal area, shifts your center of gravity. These pounds strain your low back, and if they are allowed to remain long term will cause chronic pain in that area.

Your physician may feel that back surgery is the best way to reduce your back discomfort. If less invasive procedures haven’t provided enough relief, surgery is an avenue to explore. It is also the best option for certain injuries that sometimes cause back pain.

TIP! If you are suffering from chronic back pain, do not hesitate to schedule a consultation with a medical professional. They may run tests or look at your medical history so that they can see any factors that need consideration in your condition.

It’s possible that surgery can correct conditions that cause paralysis, it will depend on the specific case. There are also other back problems that can only be fixed with surgery. Often, these problems are caused by unknown situations or by degenerative diseases.

People who have back issues should exercise often. Many of those afflicted by back discomfort believe that exercising will make their pain worse, but that simply is not always the case. You can ease the pain in your back by stretching your muscles.

TIP! There are tons of back pain medicines out there. It is crucial that you talk to you doctor before you make any decisions on which medications to take.

You do not have to live with back pain. Few people are equipped with proper knowledge on alleviating back pain or even conquering it entirely. The insights here give you some tools for gaining control of back pain and its effects on your life.
